Bark Packaging Group (BPG), added-value intermediary for rigid and flexible packaging, has sold a minority interest in the company to investment company Quadrum Capital. The partnership with Quadrum Capital will enable BPG to focus on the accelerated rolling-out of its innovative packaging concepts.

Bark Innovations has developed a new series of bottles for engine-cleaning additives, commissioned by High-Tec Specialty in Susteren in the Netherlands.

Bark Innovations has developed a new ‘tank’ for the Smilde ‘deep-frying concept’, commissioned by – and in cooperation with – Royal Smilde Natura in Heerenveen in the Netherlands. Particularly for the catering industry, Smilde Natura operates a scheme where deep frying oil is delivered and the used oil is collected.

‘Less parts and a lower weight’ It is functional, sustainable and user-friendly: the AdBlue dispenser developed by Kemetyl and Bark Innovations for passenger cars with a diesel engine and equipped with SCR technology.

Bark Verpakkingen will be present at the upcoming Interclean show at the RAI in Amsterdam (15-18 May 2018).
During the show, Bark will highlight four product groups that are particularly interesting for the cleaning industry.

During the award of the NL Packaging Awards on Thursday, 15 March 2018, the Kemetyl AdBlue dispenser was voted the best innovation.

The Swedish firm FFAB Legopack AB has selected Bark Verpakkingen’s dosing system for 2‑stroke oil applications. Legopack is a contract filling company of various chemical products with a specific focus on brake fluid and other fluids, lubricants and greases, and related products.

On 16 and 17 August 2017, Bark Verpakkingen, as well as Bark Innovations in Eerbeek, the Netherlands, were certified in accordance with the latest ISO 9001:2015 standard for a period of 3 years. Both companies have been ISO-certified since 2014.  

Bark Innovations B.V. developed a series of dosing bottles with a content of 300 ml, 1,000 ml and 2,000 ml for a wide range of high-quality concentrated plant food products on behalf of Reiziger Pty Ltd, located in Australia.

The arrival of David Gorter on 1 April 2017 further strengthened the sales team of Bark Innovations B.V., located in Eerbeek. David has more than 10 years of experience in the world of plastic packaging. During the past few years, he was mainly active in the German market.
